Juliette, longing to be a singer songwriter transformed a mere dream into reality with “The Miner’s Son” film, originally a small passion project, that certainly ignited her creativity. Influenced by rock n roll, punk and metal, she joined forces with Kevin and the Ettecon session players which formed this group of longtime friends spanning over four decades with a shared love for rock music.

KILLING ME – ETTECON From the new album Victim Turned Offender “Killing Me” is the first release from Ettecon’s forthcoming album, Victim Turned Offender. Written by Juliette Short, many of the songs on Victim Turned Offender draw inspiration from her professional background as a therapist and years spent listening to, studying and understanding human behaviour.

Ettecon was originally brought together as a session band to create and perform the soundtrack for the feature film The Miner’s Son (A Rock’n’Roll Dream). What began as a project connected to the film has since taken on a life of its own. Over the past 18 months, Ettecon has evolved into a recording project in its own right, producing a collection of raw, hard hitting and emotionally charged rock songs that have no connection to the film, but plenty to say about real life.
